Possibly the most enjoyable annual check up ever. The new eye clinic in Taylor (Eyes, etc.) is not only the most precious office I've ever been in but Dr. Elizabeth Darby is delightful, informative and thorough. 

Dr. Darby is by far the most outstanding optometrist I've ever been to see. My eye exam began with a blood pressure check and a thorough, relevant general health check demonstrating acumen and care level on par with an ophthalmologist. The prescription I ended up with was so much more exacting than I’d received before that when I received my new eyeglasses I’d never had such a major improvement in my vision. Her professionalism is enhanced by genuine warmth and compassion, and I think this encourages patients to be more open with her about health issues which contributes to the results she consistently delivers.  I believe any patient who chooses Dr. Darby for their eye care needs will be in awe as I was and never want to see anyone else!

Dr. Darby is the best! The first thing I noticed is the care and attention she gives each patient, not rushing through the very thorough examination, so I have confidence she will notify me of any issue with my eye health that needs attention. In prescribing and fitting my eyeglasses, I am always surprised and delighted that the fit is so perfect right from the outset and never requires the period of adjustment while I got used to the new glasses that I almost always had before I started going to Dr. Darby. So glad she is opening an office here in Taylor!

I was very excited to learn that Dr. Darby was opening her own practice in Taylor. I have gone to her for years and have always loved the vision, comfort and look of the glasses I’ve gotten from her. She listens carefully and performs meticulous exams. What I especially like, however, is that she takes the time to talk with you and explain your options.  Here in Memphis she provided “small town” customer service, and now the folks in Taylor will get that same service in a state-of-the art facility.  I will be one of the first patients through her doors the second she gets the OK to open!
